Headed south on 45, I guess dead is the new alive. And I ain’t sure about the afterlife, so I cling and I hold on tight.

Now I pray that I’ve caught God’s eye. I never knew if He was on my side. I need to rest these broken bones. I’m afraid that I am all-alone.

Lost every friend I used to know. I hear their voices when the wind it blows. I see the leaves shake in the trees. These old pictures, they are not me.
